the beach is relatively small with a sharp incline into deeper waters. All of the activities are related to the beach so if you want to do more than enjoy the beach you are a bit stuck.

Perissa Beach offers great views, food and swimming opportunities. The drive from Fira to Perissa is scenic and there are a few nice stops on the way, so the beach is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful beach. Sat out the front of Aquarius Restaurant on beach chairs. We were able to order and be served by Aquarius restaurant. Relaxing, enjoying ice cold beers and good food on a nice beach.

I'm really just not into black sand beaches. Somehow they just don't appeal. Unfortunately in Santorini there's not much choice, and so I was generally unimpressed with all of them. During the off season they were all deserted, which didn't really add to the appeal.

The calmness and serenity of the ocean puts a necessary hault to the otherwise racing mind. The black beach in Greece is my favourite beach in Greece. The pristine blue thrown against the black, charcoal colour rocks is a sight to be savoured. .

Yes the buses run regularly from one side of the island to the other. It’s what we used.
