We rented a electric boat for 2 hours and went in to the Gorge Du Verdon. It is so pretty there! Afterwards the wind got stronger (Mistral) and it took us longer to get back than we predicted/said. They came with a boat to check if we and the others who rented boats were alright, great service! Being late didn't matter neither, we didn't pay for the extra time (it was low season so not all of the boats were rented out but still, they don't have to do this) They even picked us up from the camping across the bay. Overall, kind service, friendly people and reasonable prices (In May 2019 we paid €27,- per hour)…

We took out an electric boat for half an hour and the lake was absolutely beautiful with stunning scenery. The staff member we dealt with was very helpful. Without Lac d'Esparron is the most beautiful of all the 3 in area. Can't wait to go back!

It was our honeymoon and we paid 65 euros for a 4.5 hour rental but approximately an hour into our trip we had to tow another couple who had also rented off La Perle as their boat had broken down hours ago, and we knew if we left them they would be there for hours more. It meant cutting our trip short however we felt it would be awful to leave them stranded. It took over 2 hours as our boat was much slower with the extra weight. By the time we got back we had at least expected some kindness from the Lady owner, maybe a thank you, and an offer of some hours back the next day so we could do what we had initially planned to do (e.g visit the lake and stop off for our picnic). The owner did not thank us and when pushed only offered us one hour. Her excuse was it would be busy so she couldnt give us the trip we should have got for 65 euros. She also refused to give us our money back. After a lot of wrangling she eventually agreed to my request for 2 hours the next day. The guy that worked for her was really embarrassed as we had clearly been put out massively, but he could not persuade her to show any other kindness. The fact that the other boat had broken down and despite the people being stranded past their due back time, there was no provision to help or concern. if you didn't have a mobile phone which neither us or the other people had, you could have been left for a very long time. We paid 65 euros to be a breakdown service for La Perle so I would strongly recommend using a different company which would hopefully have better maintained boats, and a better attitude when people put themselves out to help them.…
