The museum is one of several Anne of Green Gables places (there’s also the house of Anne and thé birthplace of author Lucy Mais Montgomery) and worth a visit just to see the house where Lucy spent some time as a youth and to browse...More
We came to this museum on our recent trip to PEI. There was plenty of parking and the price was ok, but the experience was lacking. The museum contains some interesting artifacts related to Lucy Maude Montgomery, but the presentation was quite dated. I also...More
There's nothing about this place that stands out for any reason whatsoever. It does a nice job telling a bit of a story, but the gift shops seem to take up more square footage than the exhibits themselves. It's a bit of a drive, and...More

I would say half a day is plenty enough.
Make sure to visit the book store. The lady running the book store gave a beautiful little explanation about the life of the author, etc. We really enjoyed that. :)
