Little tired look was there. Tip asking very active every step. Boat trip inside cueva was quite short and not very special. Probably you have seen all this somewhere else already. If not, then go of course!

This is a pretty cool place to visit, mainly made worth it by the boat ride at the last part of the cave.

When our guide took us to this location, I thought "great another cave", but I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. It was as unique to navigate a river in a cave.

There's only so much one can say about caves and limestone formations, especially if you've been to other, perhaps more extensive cave systems elsewhere in the world. About a 10-15 minutes taxi ride from the centre of Vinales, visiting the Cueva del Indio offers a...More

Our group arrived at 16:00 after the day trippers from Havana were on their way back. There was no line to get in. Couple of tight spots and a low spot where you need to duck. Slippery in a place or two. Unspectacular, drab coloring...More

The greenery outside the caves was really beautiful, but the cave itself was just okay. You will definitely get dripped on and the boat gets jammed with people and the ride is very short. But if you are looking for something to do in Vinales,...More

We booked a tour package through our hotel; as we were the furthest East we got picked up first; this meant we spent 1.5 hours at the beginning and end of the day to pick up/drop off other passengers. Had a quick coffee/washroom break at...More

We were lucky as we did not have to wait for the boat tour, which is all we did. A few interesting formations. The exit from the cave was quite pretty and a good photo op.

If you are travelling past this it is worth the stop. A short walk to the entrance from the car park. In the caves it isn't spectacular but quite nice to see, 5-8min walk to get to the underground river where you get in a...More

A very good little venture, even though it's all highly commercialised. The caves are wonderfully atmospheric

I saw families with babies. They didn't give out safety belts do I guess it's your responsibility. It's not that fantastic an experience. I would choose a different place to visit

The hop on/off bus runs all day long and costs 5 Cuc. It goes to the cave del Indio. You can take the bus from the bus office in front of the church, or at any stop along the route. Stops are identified with a sign picturing... More
