We have 3 Heated Open Air Swimming Pools. A Paddler Pool for non-swimmers, Learner Pool for youngsters and Big Pool for adults and confident swimmers. Our pools are open from April to September, but when they close, come along and try our state of the art Fitness Suite, use our 4 Court Sports Hall (for basketball, badminton, football, netball etc.), or attend one of our fitness classes in the Studio. On top of this we have a Brand New Astro Turf Pitch, which is fantastic for sports such as Football, Tennis, Netball and Much, Much More. We are Registered as a Charity under the title 'Haltwhistle Social Welfare Centre'

Slightly expensive but the bonus is you can stay all day. It was very quiet on a relatively warm May Day. The slide and inflatables add to the entertainment value and all round this is a useful local asset.

Went for a day at the end of August, just wanted to use the swimming pool. Given the location I think deciding on outdoor pools was very brave of the local council. The weather wasn't great on the day we visited but the water itself...More
