Carrasqueira is still the most traditional village within the Comporta Estate and the Cais Palafitico takes you back in history to see how for years the local fishermen have set sail from this destination. Photo's taken here at sunset, will probably be some of the best you can take, with the sunset and Serra da Arrabida Nature Reserve in the backdrop.…

Beautiful place to visit. All is wood construction, done by the local fishers. Great place for the photographers (amateurs or professionals) for a beautiful sunset shot. wear the anti-mosquito product.
