Carrasqueira is still the most traditional village within the Comporta Estate and the Cais Palafitico takes you back in history to see how for years the local fishermen have set sail from this destination. Photo's taken here at sunset, will probably be some of the best you can take, with the sunset and Serra da Arrabida Nature Reserve in the backdrop.…

this is well worth a detour, so quaint and a view of years ago. the town is cute with a bunch of great little restaurants
