We did the chocolate tour at Antica Dolceria Bonajuto which was okay, however most of the information is online. We were given disposable smocks and hats for the tour, which took around 30 minutes, with a sampling at the end. The guide runs through the...More

The oldest chocolate shop in Modica. Very friendly service, lovely interior, expensive but delicious dark chocolate (my favourite is the Grand Cru from Peru, followed by the one of Madagascar). Grab a cold chocolate drink to give you strength before running up the hill.

A beautiful artisan chocolate shop you must see. All the delicious chocolate is made by only 2 ingredients and without sugar and milk, so it will not melt! Don’t forget to see the picture of Loacatelli in the cabinet.

Well worth a visit if you like chocolate. You can see behind the counter where they make their own chocolate in the unique Modica style. Samples of all flavours are there to try before you buy, and various other chocolate themed products are available.

Chocolate shop with many different flavors. They make chocolate using the "cold" making process. Really really fine taste! If you visit Modica (protected by unesco), pay a visit to this shop and get yourself unique chocolate bars!!!

We were booked into here today as a part of our self drive food of Sicily tour. Our GPS took us directly there which was just as well as the shop is in a tucked away alley which could be missed. The shop was very...More

The shop with a work area behind is up a charming alley of off Corso Umberto 1. The place has a great olde world feel and the products good and priced at an okay level. Whilst the chocolate of Modica is famous I would say...More
