Most beautiful beach we have seen in Zanzibar, white sand and turquoise water ! We have also been to Michamvi beach but our preference would definitely go to Nungwi beach.

The Nungwi beach is beautiful and swimmable. In low tide there is a bit of sea weed especially when you walking into the beach but in high tide there is almost no sea weed and the water is a beautiful turquoise colour.

The beaches were amazing. I went scuba diving and it was incredibly beautiful under the sea, as well. I can't wait until i get to travel there again.

Gorgeous Beach - a little crowded but it's so pretty you can't fault people for all wanting to be here. The tides aren't bad here either - and no sea urchins that we saw near the Z Hotel.

Beautiful beach, white sand, colourful of green and blue. The beach is more clean where are the hotels,, but you can enjoy everywhere.

It is an amazing beach. I only missed some more waves and it is a bit annoying the "beach-boys" and "fake Massais" trying to make "business" with you all the time.

I recommend arranging a visit to Stone Town and perhaps also a Spice Farm visit on the way back. The beaches are amazing and we really enjoyed walking up and down each day (putting the stranded star fish back in the water... More

It's a safe place. Make negotiations for everything not only for taxis. For breakfast you can eat on the beach, there is some restaurants &the night try the strit food at all mana. Be sure is not raining season.
