Had a beautiful afternoon in the reserve and saw the lion and elephants - such a lovely setting and nice to see the jackals and termite kings/queens exodus

Beautiful scenery, with great variation. Lots of animals. Huge elephant herds. Lion encounters every day. Highly recommended.

This is a very scenic reserve. On my most recent visit, I noticed that there was alot more wildlife than earlier this year. We saw lions and cheetahs multiple times and much more too.

We did an afternoon half-day game drive and Welgevonden (also known as Kololo) did not disappoint. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable, and even made extra effort to try to track down lions and cheetah that she saw that morning (unfortunately, she was unsuccessful)....More
