Loved this waterfall - not on the path of many tourists - but just as impressive as many of Iceland's more popular waterfalls. I visited this fall four or five times while staying in Olafsvik. It is beautiful this time of year, with all of...More

After checking out the cool looking church I found a short trail to the base of the waterfall - it was about a 10 minute way with only a slight elevation gain. Very nice falls, even in a country where there are gorgeous waterfalls all...More

If you park in the hospital parking lot, it's a two minute walk to see it. It's a nice waterfall, but average by Iceland standards.

The waterfall is located above Olafsvik's church (which is easily seen from the main road). The waterfall is quite average by Icelandic standards and spoilt somewhat by the buildings which encroach on the surrounding area. However, if you're passing through and have the time, then...More

This was a great little waterfall that was the back drop for the town. It has a short hike but we'll worth the view.

We saw this waterfall on our trip around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Beautiful. The area looks like the Hawaii of the North with beautiful waterfalls and sweeping rock cliffs. We took some photos but did not hike up to it.

Short east hike to the base of the falls, nice views of the town and coastline. Good for kids. There is a longer trail off to the right but we couldn't find where it went. Might be worth exploring.

We noticed this waterfall when we were getting ready to board the boat for the Laki Tours Summer Whale Watching Tour. There is a path that goes up towards the waterfall that starts at the church across the street. This is a gorgeous waterfall that...More
