Perfect experience in coronavirus time. Guide was there on time. Lunch was good quality. Views were great and we had a nice conversation.

I just found back photos from the jungle with Ngapali Trekking : what a great moment ! Sorry for the delay, it was 2y ago... The trek was safe and allows to see various lands with a very nice guide. It was just for half a journey, which is a little bit short. A must to do in Ngapali.

We did the half day tour just before getting on the nightbus to Yangon and loved every minute of it! Amazing views, very delicious food, many things to learn about the nature and a fantastic swing above the jungle that I could have said on for hours! We definitely recommend this tour!
The guide is very nice and knows English very well!

I did the half day trek which lasts 3-4 hours and was mostly a jungle trail. Our guide had two homes in the jungle, the first of which became our rest point where we had an amazing lunch on banana leaves. Lunch included freshly grilled fish, local style fish soup, tea leave salad and fresh fruits.
The trek was made much more memorable with the guide’s knowledge of nature, especially the flora and fauna.
Was rather slippery due to loose stones and leaves. But otherwise a very doable trek.

We did the 3h Mountain View hike and visited really nice spots with a great view, shade and some watermelon, banana, apple and green tee. Our guide, sorry forgot the name, who is also the owner of Ngapali Trekking, was really friendly and showed us a lot of great stuff (plants and animals) along our route. To get an impression of the jungle behind the touristy front of Ngapali, this is a really nice experience I can only recommend. Thumbs up 👍🏽

Not being the type to lounge around the beach all day, we decided to do a non-water activity bg signing up for a full day trek with Ngapali Trekking. While not the most scenic walk, we enjoyed the walk through nature and some spots of rural life walking through two villages. We got to see some locals at work with some basket weaving and took a break at a local store where some of the villagers congregate. The guide was pretty good about spotting and pointing out butterflies, plant life, and reptiles which always kept the walk interesting. After walking through the jungle and a mild uphill climb, we had lunch prepared by the guide at one of the two huts he had built at some great vantage points overlooking the Bay of Bengal. The meal of grilled fish wib some simple sides like Burmese tea leaf salad was fantastic. We ended the 7 hour hike walking through the Ngapali dam. While not a must do in Ngapali, it was still an excellent day out.

We booked the half day trek via email and received a quick reply. We knew being April it would be hot but that didn’t deter us. We walked through villages and some low lying land before the trail took us through shady trees up the mountain. I don’t want to ruin the awesome surprise at the top! But let’s just say you will be rewarded for your hard work. And well fed!!!
Since we enjoyed the trek service so much we booked a boat tour for the next day. We got to fish, snorkel and enjoy a secluded beach lunch. Once again we were well fed and well looked after.

I did a 4-hour trek today with Ngapali trekking and loved every minute. I was picked up right on time from my hotel and the day unfolded seamlessly from that moment.
We climbed up a mountain on a path through the jungle, we made numerous stops along the way. And since we walked in the shade most of the time, I did not find the climb strenuous at all. Drinking water was provided by our friendly and competent guide so the only thing you have to carry is your camera! He also pointed different fruit trees, wild pineapples, rubber trees, eagles, butterflies... it was like walking through a wonderland!
The view at the top was magnificent. I loved seeing the beautiful Ngapali Beach area and Pearl Island from that higher perspective. Our guide cooked us a delicious lunch of rice, mixed vegetables and tea leaf salad while we rested in hammocks strung between the trees. Watermelon was provided for dessert.
On the way down we passed by a dam and a fresh water lake that provides water for the Ngapali Beach area.
I was returned back to my hotel at 2pm, thoroughly delighted by this experience. I cannot recommend Ngapali trekking enough. Check out their excellent website

Exceptional!!!! He and his team are nice, professional, prepared,so caring and incredibly friendly. Pick up at the hotel, transfer to his house , 7 hrs full day between beautiful trekking through the villages and jungle, frequent stops with snaks with local food/fruits, amazing lunch time cooked near his self built tree house (incredibly fresh grilled fish, salads, rice , fruit), crossing a lake and a dam on the way back...
If you spend some days in Ngapali, you can't missed this experience !!!!!!

Great trekking experience through the jungle with the 2 friendly guides. After 5mn walking through the village we were immediately in beautiful forests. They have built 2 very nice viewpoints on the hills. Also tasted the best pepper in my life right from the trees along the hike.
