Don't get me wrong, Waikiki Beach is beautiful! But if you're looking for a slightly quieter beach near your resort Ala Moana is your place! We hung out here for hours and then watched the sunset. So gorgeous!

The best part of this beach is it's not Waikiki. It's the beach the locals use to soak up the sun and have fun. There are BBQ's and smokers lining the beach with amazing food smells and no one cares what you look like in...More

What a gem, right in the middle of town, beautiful plants and lots of places to just chill out and enjoy the peace.

Very pleasant to walk around the entire park. Also a very safe place to bike when renting one of the BIKI bikes from racks located in and near the park.

I love Ala Moana because it is close to my home but the brown water warnings and nearby boat harbors definitely keep it from being the cleanest option for swimming. Plus sides: theres life gaurds, parking, food nearby, soft sandy beach... Down sides: a bit...More

Beautiful clear water and wonderfully soft sand. A great place to relax and spend the day. We were able to see the Annual Memorial Day Floating Lantern Lights Ceremony. The lights on the ocean were gorgeous.
