St. Mary's located right next door to the Omni La Mansion del Rio *previously St. Mary's College and later St. Mary's University) is one of the oldest in the city, following the missions, of much older vintage. The parish started in the mid-19th century but...More

Great Stained Glass windows. Lots of statues. The gift shop is nice, but very limited hours. The "Homeless Jesus" bronze is striking!

We attended a Saturday mass here, casual, at peace and beautiful Church. Enjoyed having an opportunity to attend.

I stopped in to look at the church and it was just beautiful. It reminded of the church I grew up in. I returned to attend the Saturday vigil mass. Everyone was welcoming to the tourists and the service was very good. The priests gave...More

The bells ... they could be cute, or quaint. They toll the hour, like a good church bell should, which is nice. But then you check your watch, and realize they are 7.5 minutes late. "Oh that's odd," you think to yourself. "Maybe my watch...More

This is a wonderful Church to attend in Downtown San Antonio. If you’re staying at Omni La Mansion, literally just around the corner. A few steps from hotel & they have a 530pm mass on Saturday.

We went to mass at St Mary's Church while in San Antonio. You can hear the bells of the church tolling when you are on the River Walk and it is in a convenient location if you are downtown. Interestingly enough, it is also labeled...More

I don't know, but the bulletin is posted outside the church and the rectory is on the grounds about 100 feet from the church entrance. Sorry, I can't help.
