We had a private tour guide take us on a walking tour of the King William District in San Antonio. We started at the Guenther House and ended at the Guenther House. Well worth the time. Very rich German history.

Very nice to walk through. We walked to it from the River Walk. Beautiful homes. We toured the Villa Finale Home and found the tour to be VERY interesting and informative. Highly recommend the guided tour.

Finally took this tour and visited these historic home just out of downtown San Antonio. Simply wonderful. Truly amazing. Great guide. Don't know why it took me so long to do this.

This historic area of San Antonio consists of big, beautiful, old houses. You can walk on the Riverwalk behind some of them and see them from the back.

Had two tours of this area these are restored homes fro the early German and Prussian settlers. The ornate woodwork is amazing worth a walking tour or bus tour just so you understand history of area.

The homes are not open for tours. It's a neighborhood self walking tour so I presume you can go at anytime before dark.

We didn’t see a visitor center- we walked from the Riverwalk and all around the area looking at the historic homes.
