    Fun day!
We went on a Wednesday on purpose to avoid crowds. We took our two grandsons ages 7 and 9. They had a blast! The park was open from 11-7. The water park was open from 12-7. We had to carry around our bag with water park things for an hour until it opened so we could get a locker. We hit a few rides during that hour and they keep your bag for you until you get off the ride so that wasn’t a problem at all. We got Groupon tickets which I was not able to load into the app beforehand. It wasn’t a problem as I really didn’t use the app much. The lines were not long at all for the rides or food. We got the meal plan which ended up being a good deal because the food is very expensive there. The meal plan included the all day drink bottle which was great because it was very hot that day and we filled it a lot! It also included a meal or snack every 90 minutes. We were a little concerned about the weather as it did get over 100 that day but we weren’t ever really hot. There is lots of shade and water rides to keep you cool. We went to the water park around 3:30 and finished out the day there. We could have stayed longer to do all the things we wanted to do and didn’t have enough time for. We didn’t go to any shows because we couldn’t fit them in. Overall, it was a great experience!
Thanks for taking time out of your day to review us. Hope to see you again soon!

    Hot but Fun
What can I say the park was a big hit with everyone. Even though it was hot every one had a blast. We rented a cabana in Hurricane Harbor and it was worth it. A great place to group. “Free” seating in Hurricane Harbor is very limited. One gripe is they need a more diverse food offering in Hurricane harbor, seems all you could get was chicken fingers and pizza. Six flags park was lots of fun. Various food options and lots of places to find a shady seat for those not participating in the rides.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to review us. Hope to see you again soon!

The most well run Six Flags
You don't have to stay in this park long to tell that ownership really takes pride in this place. This is my 7th park I've visited in the chain and I must have said at least 10 times "I can't believe this is a six flags". The theming feels more like something you'd see at a Universal park. The ride lineup is also very solid. We got to meet the park president also and he seems like he really cares. Park employees are also very nice which is a nice breath of fresh air after dealing with the rude ride operators at Sea World. We spent two days here and I will admit for about 2 hours on our first day we did start running into some typical Six Flags issues. 4 different rides broke down on us (the drop tower went down twice while I was waiting" and we did wait about a half hour at Fat Burger. Eventually though the day did turn around and we had a great time for the rest of our stay.
Really glad you had a positive experience. Thanks for reviewing. Hope to see you again in the near future!

Excellent Park For The Coaster Enthusiasts!
Love, love, love this park! While it's not anything on the scale of Universal-Orlando or Disneyworld, it positively excels in the coaster offerings. Perfect for one day intensive coaster experience. My favorite is Iron Rattler, but other than Batman, which I hated, the coaster selection is outstanding! This was our 2nd visit to the park, and we were there a bit off-season, so the lines were short, but they still seemed to be pretty well staffed, and we had a picture-perfect day to spend at the park. We'll be back!

    Overpriced and underwhelming
Very expensive daily tickets with one day rate of $59 for kids and adults when we visited. Everything, including maps of the place, cost something. Not much do or 4-6 year olds to do. Disappointing experience for the money spent.
We appreciate the rating, even if it means we could have done better. We are always looking for ways to improve. If you’d like to share any details about your experience, please send a note to vipsupport@sixflags.com.

    Good experience
This was a fun time overall. It was early in the season so they didn’t have all the rides open. The parking was $37 which I think now takes the spot as most expensive parking I have ever paid in my life! There was not really a line to go through security. I waited in the ticket line and when I got to the front they said to save $90 I could buy the tickets on my phone. What a waste of time and also how stupid- just sell me the tickets at the online price! The first impression of the park was that it could have been cleaner and better maintained since they had all winter to work on that. I did all-day dining and I thought it was worth it. The food was mediocre at best but still a better value than not having the package. The staff members who I encountered were friendly and ready to start off the summer season. The entertainment was really bad.

    A wonderful experice
we are a Arizona family, and when we made a trip out there to Texas it was so beautiful. Our first stop was the SixFlag's water park and that was honestly the best use of my money. The kids loved it so much, the park itself was huge and had a variety of rides to choose from, such a great day for that humid weather . The next day we made a stop at the amusement park , everything was amazing the kids got to play games and win multiple prizes. The rides were overall the best part, the iron rattler was their fav, the only thing that suck was the wonder woman ride was shut down when we got there. We will definitely make another trip here again!!!!

    This place is awesome!!
Went to hurricane harbor with my 6 year old and with this season pass we will be there all summer. She loves this place. We usually buy a cabana so that we will have 2 chairs and a umbrella, last summer it was a life saver in the texas heat. She would be there all day everyday if she could. I only pay 20 bucks a month for mine and her season passes. So to me it is well worth it.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Hope to see you again soon!

    Fun! Fun! Fun!
Our family had a fabulous time here at Six Flags! I had expected the crowds to be over the top because it was the day before the total solar eclipse would be occurring, with San Antonio being right on the edge of totality, so I figured that everyone who came to town to view the eclipse would include a visit to Six Flags; therefore, I bought the "Ultimate" Flash passes; well, I could've gotten by with the "Standard" passes. Anyway, we enjoyed the whole day, especially with my wife and I feeling like kids again keeping up with our daughters, going from thrill ride to thrill ride!

We had such a good time at Six Flags. There was plenty to do for everyone and not a dull moment. We made great memories that will last.

Many rides closed over and over throughout the day. Only 2-3 food places open with long lines and after buying 2 refill drink cups only the places with the long lines would refill the cups. One worker at one of the food places was screaming at the customers at one point. Would not waste my money here. Similar problems when we went to the six flags in Dallas. In my opinion six flags quality has gone way down.

Had a really fun day at Six Flags, got on all the big rides with very little queing before 12noon, the Iron Rattler was one of our favourites and we queued twice, second time only 45mins around lunchtime. Love the fact it's in a deep quarry, the park has used to advantage in ride building and water fall section. Despite Easter Good Friday, Max queue all day was about 45mins for us (some stated queues got to 90mins for iron rattler later), many queues were well ventilated or covered to protect from heat. Park got busiest between 2-6pm, when we chose to do gentler, smaller queue rides all no more than 15mins queue. Park was clean, and all the staff friendly. Special mentions go to Syliva (Ops supervisor), who chatted to us trying to get onto Poltergeist which started testing about 4pm, she was so friendly and helpful, she showed us up to the closed station, so we could see the theming, and then as she was headed across the park our way, she walked us over to another ride when Poltergeist failed to open 1hr later, she totally made up for it, chatting away, she was so friendly, and she was picking up rubbish all along too, what I wouldn't do to have an employee like her in my business, look after this one she's very good at her job and made our day. Theming on pre queue at Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger especially good, really liked it. There was a handful of queue jumpers that day which always ruin things for everyone they cut in front of, surprisingly more adults than kids, but to be expected on family holiday day, but boy do I hate queue jumpers. We stopped 2 of them, no hope for the rest. Yummy freshly cooked pizza for lunch too and ordering on the app was easy, picked it up 10 mins later while we sat and waited at table, so don't bother queing for food. Overall really enjoyed the park and visit and would definitely come back again to ride Lasso which is being renovated. I'd visit on a weekday when not a holiday though.

Once inside the park, our flash passes could not be used without considerable time spent on the app. They could use some help from more well run parks such as Valley Fair. Or worth your time or money!
