Every part of their experience is truly original and exceptional. Mark is an extraordinary trolly guide. I actually gave him a standing O. Meghan was a beautiful underground guide, and the acting in all of this, on the stage thing, in the haunted underground, all...More

We did the trolley ride with Jack as our tour guide. He did a great job and was very funny and entertaining. The problem was we didn’t SEE anything! We only went to winter island where a bunch of people were camping and the waterfront...More

So sorry that your tour was a disappointment. The trolley usually picks people up right across the street, but this is the first year the the street was shut down. The trolley was most likely late because of the street closures. We cannot control the...More

We did both attractions, the stage show and the haunted basement tour. You save $5 when you purchase together. We enjoyed both. Staff is very friendly. Safe, clean, and good for all ages. Highly recommend.

The show was cheesy and short. I personally didn't like that you had to have a guide and he/she had to prompt you to do things. I also did not like that it was in a basement. It was not underground tunnels. It was disappointing.More

So sorry that you didn't like it. The Lost Museum is actually 18 minutes long, which makes it the longest haunted attraction in Salem. Most, if not all other "haunts" are 5-7 minutes long. We do advertise it as an underground haunted attraction, (which it...More

So much fun! Just Jack - our Trolley Tourman was awesome - funny, knowledgeable and entertaining. We went right from that to Ales and Tales - the beers were typical Massachusetts (Cisco, Shipyard), but we are from MA. Was hoping to sample a local (Salem)...More

Thanks for the review! Tales and Ales is now in its 8th year, and we always appreciate the input about the ales. Perhaps next year we can consider getting a cider from the local brewery. Thanks again for coming!

We paid for the underground tour and the play. The play was very short although the staff were great and funny. There was a tiny bit of history but not much. The underground was so cheesy and not scary or well done at all. I...More

Thanks for your response. In the show, (22 minutes long) we go over the events of the trials, witchcraft lore, ghost lore, answer questions about 1692 and end with a brief witch trial. In the Lost Museum, we have special effects including air blasts, fog,...More

It has scary moments, but it is not a typical "Boo House" where actors jump out around every corner. It has amazing special effects and lots of startles. There are a few actors that do jump out, but I think you will love it... More
