Weather was awesome for this outing in November. Easy hike up to picnic area. Great views of the cactus. It was fun to climb up on some of the rocks with grandkids.

Every time I go back to Tucson, I hike this canyon. It's a terrific show of the flora and fauna of the desert environment, and depending on the weather, a test in endurance. Don't recommend going in the summer as the heat can be unbearable.

We were looking forward to hiking in Sabino Canyon on our next trip to Tucson. We live in the Pacific Northwest and when we have an opportunity to travel somewhere warm during the cold months, we always get out and hike/walk the area. Sabino Canyon...More

Beautiful network of trails and fun for all ages. Wonderful weather for November. This is one of the most visited places in Tucson, but there is ample parking, visitor center and refreshments after exploring the area.

Beauty place for walking and observing. After 4:00pm free entrance on cars, very hilly road, who has sick feet not recommended.

This Canyon and area was absolutely beautiful. I just loved it. Nice little community around it with cool mountain house on the mountainside. Just loved the view!

Walked the former tram path 3.7 miles in to canyon. Great sites throughout. Many off road trails for serious hikers Still in search for javelinas do they exist? Great experience very peaceful.

It's about 2 1/2 miles each way. We are 60 years old and had no trouble with it. Not a lot of elevation gain. You do have to cross the creek 7 times by walking on rocks. I think an agile 7 or 8 year old would be fine. Feet... More
