Quoddy Head lighthouse is a charming place to visit that evokes the imagination. From here there is a fantastic hiking trail that meanders along the coastline. We took the trail out to green point and back, a little less than three miles. The views were...More

As evidenced by other reviews, this state park is a true gem. It was uncrowded (early September) and well maintained. The views were spectacular and the trails well maintained. Overall, a great place for a very modest fee.

Take a beautiful nature hike along the rocky coastline of Maine with awesome views of the ocean and rocky coastline. Climb on the rocks. Plenty of benches to relax and enjoy a snack. Restrooms at the parking lot.

Great hike- families could do this but always be careful. Trails marked well, boundaries in place in most areas to help with safety, good map and lots of places to stop and gaze out over the bay. I would not take kids under 8-10. You...More

The bog trail was easy and interesting, the coastal trail and the coast guard trail had beautiful views of the ocean and woodlands. The coastal trail is harder, more up and down and longer.

We were staying about 4 1/2 miles away. It a beautiful summer day. As drove over we could see the fog bank. Once we got there, we were totally socked in. We could even see the ocean.

There is a small campground close by in Lubec called Sunset Point Campground. The views are beautiful from the campground. The park closes at sunset, however I have seen star photos at the lighthouse. Check with the... More

I stayed at West Quoddy Station (vacation rentals); I highly recommend it. It's the closest to the park.
