Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Ride at Sunrise

408 reviews
Get the best possible views of the Albuquerque area without the expense of a helicopter tour. By heading out at sunrise in a hot air balloon, you'll be able to watch and snap photos as the sun's first rays fall on the dramatic landscape of the Sandia Mountains. Dip low over the mighty Rio Grande while listening to commentary on the area's geology and environment from your pilot. Then land for breakfast and sparkling wine.

Great place to go when the weather is nice. Spent the day there with family. My personal favorite was the Sasebo Japanese Garden with the pretty waterfall. The garden was a lot bigger than expected so I would spend a few hours there if you plan to see it all. The only garden area that was not worth the look was the Cottonwood Gallery as everything appeared mostly to be dead and as if it hadn't been cared for in a few years. It is worth the trip if you are in town visiting and would like somewhere to go with family.

A fun city adventure through beautiful and quirky ABQ Botanical Gardens, the best part was definitely the full-size working farm, modeled after the 1930s.

we took our grandkids to the river of lights and it was spectacular... and... we did the early ticket option and were so glad we did.. parked fairly close in.. no massive crowds.. did not have to wait for ticketing.. and the displays were other-worldly.. kids and adults were all amazed. we can see why this is so highly rated..

We were looking for somewhere to see Christmas lights. We travel each December out of state to look at lights. We found out about this from a USA Today top 20 for Christmas lights. This one blew us away with the amount of displays. We did pay extra to be part of the magic hour. First 25 minutes, the sun had not set enough to really make the lights be bright. The remaining 35 minutes was great, and you could tell when the general admission crowd came in. It was pretty busy, but not so bad that you still couldn’t enjoy the lights, just had to be a little more patient.

Love going to the garden. It is so beautiful and peaceful. My favorite spot is by the waterfall. I could sit there all day and read.
