Good outdoor animal viewing areas with some air conditioned indoor exhibits. There’s a petting area for the kids to enjoy. Most of the mammals aren’t too active in the hot sun and are usually resting in shade areas in the back of their enclosures. A...More

We go every couple of months with the family, the zoo is always a great place to take family of all ages! Probably one of the better zoos in Texas! Highly recommend it!

I enjoyed my experience here. There are so many beautiful animals. Be sure to pick out what's most important for you to see because you may be tired of walking before you see everything.

This zoo was very enjoyable for the children. It was well thought out with well marked exhibits and directions. There is some free parking but otherwise is $5. No elephants but lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
