Just a little paradise. Caves are amazing. You enter another world when you discover them. Even if the place is safe, I didn't feel very comfortable in the cave. Maybe I'm claustrophobic. Otherwise, it's a beautiful area. Oregon is one of my favorite state in...More

I've driven through Cave Junction for 30+ years and never ventured up to the caves - I always figured it was going to be some hokey tourist trap type place. Recently we camped in the area with our Boy Scout Troop and took the Scouts...More

These are marble-based caves so that don't have quite the same look as many other caves we've been in. The 90 minute tour was worth it (and one really must reserve - online).

It's a long and curvy road up to the cave. We did the 1.5 hour tour. The ranger who guided the tour was very informative and funny. The cave itself is interesting from a geological point of view, but not very scenic.

A nice relaxing drive up the valley to the Oregon Cave and the Chateau(hotel, restaurant). The cave itself is interesting with many formations. Unfortunately much souvenir hunting in the late 1880’s so many broken stalactites. Most formations are light brown with a few of the...More

Yep, this is a pretty awesome experience. Plan on spending about 2 hours in total but it’s worth it. Our guide Laurel was great.

We loved the caves! Fascinating geological wonder - beautiful and intimidating. Our guide, Ethan, was really great. Also check out the beautiful hiking trails surrounding the caves.

Before you go to this special site; check on their open times. The park usually closes in mid November due to snow! The tour is about 10$ per person, check on the childrens cost, if any? Get ready for a hike; and if you are...More

Beautiful, exciting, and enjoyable a trip to the Oregon Caves. The helpful Guides and the magnificent scenery is worth the trip. With a large lodge with great food you can take the whole extended family for a wonderful adventure.

on the road up to the caves the journey begins, I generally like to remind the young folk to stay close as the caves have been know to house some very big feeted hairy persons. Stick tight to the Ranger as you will not want...More

No. Unfortunately I did not see any ADA Compliance for that. Small passages prevent it.

The drive up to the cave is winding and steep. There are few turnout to let cars pass by. It is not recommended for RVs over 20'.

April is a great time to visit the caves. The temperature inside the cave is 44-degrees year round, so that would not make a difference. There may be a little snow still in the area, but should not be much. April is... More
