I would have liked to try their beer but it was a really hot day and the large crew of 20 somethings overwhelmed the small staff who did not seem too friendly so I decided to leave, definitely not a good first impression to make...More

Stopped to taste their beers. They were very good. Only problem, wanted to buy to go and there were almost nothing to buy due to an event the day before. So I was, a little disappointed to have drive 2 hours for almost nothing.

Every year we return to the area and to hell bay! We really enjoy the experience. The staff are fantastic and super engaging. The beer is great, absolutely loved the OPA this season. Not too proud to not offer up other local brews and ciders...More

Great microbrewery, worth a taste. Good selection, some award winning brews. Selection for different tastes. Nice atmosphere, both inside tables, darts, cards, etc and outside tables.

Doesn't look much from outside but it's what's inside that's important. We had a flight of six samples, English ale being the best, I liked the oatmeal, some natural citrus in it, not too much. The cream ale was more of a mild, dark and...More

Visiting my friend and taking in privateer day's and stopped for a flight. Liked them very much. Will be in to get a growler filled before I leave. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

My local NSLC has recently expanded its walk-in beer cooler so I've been taste testing a wide variety of local craft beers lately. I picked up a 6-pack of Hell Bay English Ale because I'm primarily a bitter drinker, and I've since made another 3...More

A small brewery with a limited selection of beer. The staff are great and most of the beer is too. Their prices are reasonable and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby.

Great place and beer. Small but funky. Sample on the patio with a view. The dark cream ale is fantastic - best craft beer sampled during our Maritime travels.
