There is always something going on here during the summer BBQs and lots of people in campers. Lots of interesting things to learn about Hank Snow and the town in a great little place to visit.

This museum was our main reason for including Liverpool on our itinerary. My husband is a huge fan and enjoyed all the Hank Snow memorabilia, even sitting in Hank's Cadillac!
We were the only visitors at that time so had an interesting chat with the gentleman there.
It is only a small museum but well worth spending a little time there especially if you are a fan of the traditional country music.

Didn't know that Hank Snow was from Liverpool NS - stopped by this nicely restored train station and was surprised that we were the only one there. Even if you are not a country music fan this would be worth a quick look.

Had someone asked me "Do you know where Hank Snow is from?", I would have been able to say "Nova Scotia". What town, I had no idea, so it was one of those great surprises on our recent tour when we stumbled across the Hank Snow Home Town Museum in Liverpool Nova Scotia.

Our plans called for an overnight stay in Liverpool, and in wandering around this small town looking for the hotel, we came across the museum which is located in the town's old train station. We arrived after closing time, but were intrigued enough to make sure our morning gave us time for a quick tour.

We were more than a little surprised at the extent of the museum. It houses two old Cadillacs once owned by Snow, as well as numerous outfits he performed in, and a huge number of his gold and platinum records.

Snow was well know in the hay days of country music, and as you wander through the museum looking at stories of his early life, his friends and peers in the music business, his greatest hits are playing in the background.

There is no doubt he is better known amongst the older set of which I'd include ourselves, but it would be of interest to any musicphile who is interested in the history of music in Canada, and of the maritimes.

They sell his CD's and other memorabilia and it was a very pleasant way to spend an hour with friends who remember his days of glory, and country music during that time.

Visted the musuem as part of the Hank Snow Tribute weekend. The musuem hosts many interesting artifacts of Hank's as well as hosting the NS Country Music Hall of Fame. There is a musuem shop that sells albums/CD,s and other collectable items.

Worth a visit if you are in the area as Hank Snow was one of the greatest country musicians of all time; proven with his 120+ albums and "I'm Movin' On", which still holds the country music record for the number of consecutive weeks at the number one chart position.

Loved this little museum located in an historic railway station. The museum is jam packed with little treasures and memorabilia of Hank Snow and also recognizes other East Coast Canadian country artists. The staff were super friendly. It is well worth the stop if your travelling through Liverpool. Price of admission won't hurt your pocket book.

Took my mom and my aunt to the museum. They loved it. Lots of cool outfits, movies and history. A highlight for me was the two vehicles from Hank's collection. Would have liked to see some of Hank's guitars...
