Visited with my parents, Dad is a train and history buff and was blown away by the exhibits. The walk down by the canal is lovely. The cafe staff are nice and friendly with the fare basic but tasty.

Thank you for taking the time to share your memories. It's lovely that you brought your daughters to revisit part of your childhood! We are thirty years old this year so it's great to welcome you back to Summerlee.

The reason for the 3 stars is that the cafe is filthy, you need to clear and clean the table and seating you sit at otherwise it would be unhygienic to eat. The rest of the museum is great but it is badly let down...More
