A stunning place to visit. We enjoyed a horse drawn carriage ride around the lake which was a very fun and a unique experience! Picnic sitting areas are available. A gorgeous natural place to relax surrounded by the backdrop of mountains and trees.

I drove my own car to Lake Abant, therefore I wouldn't know about public transportation. I guess the best way is to rent a car

Hello, as far as I know there are tours to Abant from Istanbul. You can also go to Bolu by bus and take another bus from Bolu to Abant. Be careful about heavy snow in December
