A wonderful bike ride through orange groves
Apr 2021
This is a dedicated greenway that's easily accessed from Dénia. We rented bikes from Ring-Ring in town, and had a great ride - the path is flat and well-maintained. You can keep going at the end if you like!

Nice views
Jan 2021
Great walking and bike path to use to get away from cars. Great views of the Montgo while strolling through orange fields. A nice alternative to cruising las marinas. IT's main drawback is- it's a little too short and I wish there were more bike friendly places in the area.

Lovely walk in the orange groves
Jan 2021
A former railroad track to take fruit and passengers to Valencia, now a lovely long walking trail. You pass various groves with different types of oranges. Lovely scent when the flowers are in bloom.

A great walk!
Nov 2019
This is a great flat walk, passing through orange groves and other interesting scenery - including goats! We only did the first section, but will definitely go back and do the other parts

Not signposted from town centre
Nov 2019 • Couples
Not signposted from the town centre so if you're planning a walk then a street map is vital. Good surface for walking amidst orange groves and farmsteads. No toilets! Limited stopping points with only a couple of benches.

Nice bike road to get to the beach from the city center. Is really quiet and easy to get from Denia.

Great spot for running
Jul 2019 • Solo
Discovered it because of TripAdvisor. Have been in Dénia for several weeks and I go there for running since there are no cars around and the landscape is really nice. Be careful though because the heat can be pretty unbearable between 1000 and 1900 if you want to go for a run.

Super cycle track
May 2019 • Solo
A cycle piste of 6 km flat and easy for all including children. Beautiful scenery and goes through orange Plantations. You will need an all terrain bike. The terrain is not paved all the way. There are some interesting panels with maps and historic photos of how the trains were. Every kilometer is marked. You can go further with explanatory panels. There are other tracks similar. Well worth it.

Stunning views
Apr 2019 • Couples
We must have cycled the this route a hundred times but it never gets boring. Nice paved surface until km5 when it just degrades into a bumpy gravel road but as you proceed, the views of the mountains get better and the smell and sight of the orange groves is a delight. Easy to stop and sample a few at the many seating areas. At the end, veer right and try the fratelli restaurant in els poblets for a great menu del dia.
