April and the tourist season yet to get under way. Nice beach arcing between the headlands, golden sands, the promenade, public restrooms and across the road many shops, cafes, restaurants and souvenir outlets. All positive except the service in the shops; snappy, rude, unhelpful, hopefully...More

We came to Peñíscola for a short visit, but definitely would love to come back. Beach is very clean and not crowded, and views to the castle are stunning! It is fun to walk the promenade.

Beach is long and clean. We visited the place in the peak of the season,, so there were many many people. Water was clean and shallow. Parking was a challenge (we found a place near the street Calle Puntarro).

I've seen the beach at Wikiki in Hawai. This is a much nicer, longer beach. It's beautiful. If you are looking for a lovely beach, I can't think of one that's nicer.

The whole family loved this beach. The sand is golden brown and super fine which feels nice under your feet. The shore line is fairly shallow which makes it ideal for swimming or wading for both adults and children. Waves breaks are very small when...More
