It's been a long time since we've been to an aquarium, we thoroughly enjoyed this one. The species were very carefully indicated. Parking was free but I'm not sure if it will be all year round. Large cafe on the ground floor

The National Aquarium in Bugibba is small compared to others in large cities, but waht it lacks in size, it makes up for in quality and variety. Well laid out, lots to see. You can easily spend a couple of hours in there.

It's open all year round from 10:00am sharp till 8:00pm. If you're planning to take a trip on one of the Open-Top bus's, do that first as they have tokens on their tickets that give you €3.00 off the entrance fee at the Aquarium. Just tear off at the perforation and present at the till when you go in.
