Gli oggetti ritrovati durante lo scavo archeologico, esposti nel museo della Rocca di Campiglia, sono riferibili sia alla vita civile che militare dell’insediamento e permettono di ripercorrere le vicende storiche di questo importante borgo medievale.

Luogo meraviglioso che si presta a molte foto con scorci molto suggestivi. Peccato che abbiamo raggiunto questo luogo in tardo pomeriggio, oltre l'orario per visitare il museo, ma comunque in tempo per poter ammirare uno splendido tramonto.
Torneremo sicuramente per poter visitare il museo.

Non abbiamo visitato il Museo ma solo i resti della antichissima Rocca, che fanno solo immaginare la grandezza e l'importanza che doveva avere. Bellissimo il panorama sulla Val di Cornia.

Un piccolo museo con gli oggetti, il vasellame e quanto trovato negli scavi del "butto" (la pattumiera del tempo) della Rocca. Oggetti che descrivono la vita semplice degli abitanti con piatti, vasi e in particolare anche un anello d'oro, forse caduto accidentalmente. Molto brava la guida che ci ha accompagnato prima nella visita alla rocca e poi nel museo-. Conveniente l'acquisto del biglietto cumulativo

Secondo me non vale assolutamente la pena affrontare un'impervia salita senza bombole d'ossigeno, per trovare un muro sbrecciato.Non posso dire del museo perché chiuso.E sono un vero amante di ruderi..Ma non di questo.

La Rocca di Campiglia marittima offre un ottima vista del paese e del paesaggio circostante. Ăˆ un insediamento medioevale iniziato a costruire nel XI secolo. Si presenta ristrutturata con l’abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche. Al suo interno in un ex locale, è stato ricavato un piccolo museo, ad oggi dismesso (visto che guardando al suo interno sulle vetrine c’erano 3 dita di polvere)
Le indicazioni storiche sulla Rocca si presentano su dei cartelli scoloriti e nn invogliano la lettura.
Al centro della Rocca è stato costruito una struttura moderna, di cattivo gusto, con delle installazioni in ferro che permettono un punto panoramico.
Sicuramente è da visitare, ma peccato per il restauro fatto male.

Premetto che il museo non lo abbiamo visitato (perché a quell'ora era chiuso). Ma anche ci fossero stati solo cocci, una salita alla rocca vale qualunque prezzo. Per le stradine medioevali che ci arrivano, per lo splendido panorama che si schiude ai vostri piedi (si vede praticamente l'intero arcipelago toscano), da un lato (mare) e dall'altro (montagne con cave e castelli).

Paese dominato dalla sua Rocca alle pendici del monte Calvo con un panorama meraviglioso sulla cittĂ  di Piombino,ancora piĂ¹ meraviglioso il suo interno con le vie rimandano indietro nel tempo,un borgo bellissimo.

La fortificazione medievale della Rocca di Campiglia è molto bella , all'interno vi è un parco pubblico con panchine e tavoli, bellissima è la bifora ed il museo all'interno del cassero

Nella splendida Val di cornia sulle pendici del Monte Calvo domina Campiglia M. il panorama è quello tipico di questa parte di Maremma con ulivi e filari di vigne. Il borgo si snoda sul colle in un intreccio di vie strette tipiche medievali ben pulite, ogni angolo è una foto e molto evidente è l'impronta della Famiglia della Gherardesca.Molto rilassante specie quando non c'è l'invasione caciarosa di turisti. Chi arriva a Campiglia M. non puĂ² esimersi di visitare la Rocca dalla quale il paesaggio che si apre fino al mare è oro per gli occhi.
