The hilltop castle and surrounding cobbled streets are simply magnificent and well worth a trip. We probably made a mistake in choosing to visit in 34’ temperatures climbing up and down steep side alleys but the granita helped keep things cool. The museum itself in...More

This is a place you have to visit when you are in the area - absolutely beautiful views over the whole bay. It is a lovely walk up - through little alleys with shops and restaurants. I am rating it average though, the castle is...More

The climb up to the castle is quite steep but do visit as views are exceptional. Castle has been very well restored.

Not loads to see but great views from the top and some interesting artefacts to look at and to learn the history of. Very reasonably priced. Well worth a wonder around the amazing narrow cobbled streets surrounding the castle.

You can enjoy nice view from the Castle and see an exhibition of traditional plaited baskets. Worth visiting!

Castle itself is ok, but views make it worth the visit alone. The old town itself is lovely for wandering around with plenty places to each and drink with a few tourist shops thrown in. Would recommend a trip if in the area.

The old castle and old part of the town is a must when visiting Sardinia. The view of the castle and from the castle is fantastic.

Great view from the caste is everything that counts. Museum is nothing special. From the top of the castle you have beautiful view the city of Castelsardo on one side and to the islands on the other. Watching the sunset from the castle is amazing,...More

This place gives you the opportunity to see Castelsardo from a great height. Eye level with the soaring seagulls. Had a toilet as well!
