The waterwheel circuit is a very pleasant walk around and through the inner old town of L'Isle sur-la-Sorgue. It will take about a couple hours, but you can start and stop at your leisure. The map available at the tourist office has all 14 waterwheels...More

Great short walk around the old town, with some information on some of the waterwheels. Circuit info sheet available from tourist information. Very interesting, not to be missed. Good for photography.

I heard that the water in the canal is ice cold. So what I've been told and is very clear too. I think that this is their signature attraction for this place. A lot of selfies and pictures are being taken.

The main waterwheel is lovely and worth a look but you could probably stop there unless you want a walk around the town.

This is a very nice walk that takes you through the heart of the village. Old water wheels are everywhere. A very relaxing walk that takes you about fifteen minutes,

The circuit is purely magnificent and provides great photo ops. In addition there are a number of great antique / second hand shops in the general area which are worthy of viewing. Wished we had more time to explore further.
