I am a stall holder on the antiques market and it is a super colourful place to work and visit. The market is on every sunday from around 8 am, there is a general markey selling local produce and many other things to tempt you. Along the Ave 4...more

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue was on our list of places to visit so we decided to go on Sunday which was market day. We were staying in Avignon so we took train and arrived there in 30 minutes. Don't visit many markets but found this one worth doing....More
Found this town to be the least attractive spot in Provence. Pure schlock. I guess if you have to go to a large market day, then maybe you will find some redeeming value. The natural beauty of the surrounding environs were trashed by the throngs...More
If your staying in L’Isle sur la Sorgue then a trip to the market is a must, Thursday is smaller while Sunday much larger and includes an area with antiques.
So much to see and experience.
You’d be mad to miss it!

Don’t miss it...More

We have been to this market several times and it is a great market - no doubt. There are a few things that are good to know before you come. Parking is very difficult - you'll likely need to park on one of the streets...More
