Ballard has their Farmers market each Sunday. It's open at 10 and runs through mid afternoon. Farmers have had fresh local produce including foraged mushroom, flowers, meat. Local makes also sell their soaps, clothing, sauces and jewelry. This is a fabulous place to visit to...More

This farm market has something for everyone. A wide variety of fresh produce, prepared baked goods and snacks, native cheeses and dairy products, street entertainers, crafts and clothes, and great people watching. The vendors I spoke with were all friendly and happy to offer samples...More

The Ballard Farmers Market sets the bar for what this kind of experience can be. It’s filled with all the usual top end vendors for culinary raw materials with a nice dabbling of breads, cheeses, and other more non-produce items. It features some wonderful and...More

This was a very fun experience, however, the things there are a bit pricey. I do recommend visiting this farmers market whenever it's open.

We enjoy Farmers' Markets immensely. At home, our markets are generally held on Saturdays... and a little more limited in variety and volume than the Ballard experience. We purchased quite a lot of edibles, including three products we really relish: smoked salmon, dip seasonings, and...More

This is a fun way to spend a Sunday. There is a vast array of fresh fruits and vegetables, grass fed meats, dairy, and eggs, a variety of food to eat, beautiful flowers, and entertaining musicians. Parking can be hard to find.

Great experience! Loved the feel, energy, friendly people, vendors, delicious/healthy food, etc... great place to hangout and be a part of the town's culture. Nice community experience especially for tourists. Wish our farmer's market was like this!

Typically it is open every Sunday and only closed on Christmas if it falls on Sunday. I am planning on being there on Easter Sunday myself—-see you there
