My fiancée and I booked the Harding Icefield hike thru Exit Glacier guides & we did not regret it! Our guide was incredible! She was super fun, very knowledgeable (& passionate) about glaciers & the ever changing landscape that is Kenai National Park. The hike was strenuous, no joke, but it was absolutely incredible & worth getting completely soaked. Being able to get close to the natural world like that, it was awe inspiring. I think it’s possible we could have done the hike on our own, my partner & I are young & fit, but I’m glad we chose to go with a guide bc she was full of so much insight & knowledge that it made the trip even more fascinating. It was a cold & rainy day but our guide had extra rain jackets & gloves for all of us. We were provided with trekking poles & treated to hot chocolate at the top as well.

Excellent day tour to see Exit Glacier. Our boat trip was postponed and the staff was accommodating and allowed us to take the tour a day earlier. Our tour guide was terrific. Would definitely recommend going with a guiding company to see Exit Glacier.

This was our favorite adventure in Alaska! Our crew was incredible and we had the absolute best time exploring in kayaks. HIGHLY recommend!

We kayaked to the active Alialik Glacier with Liquid Adventures and loved it! Our 2 female guides were amazing, so fun and knowledgeable. During our long boat ride to the glacier with saw tons of sea life along the way like, otters, whales, sea lions and puffins. It was very cool watching, and listening to the roll of thunder coming from the glacier as the ice fell into the water! Highly recommend this tour with them.

Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. The photos do not do this place justice. Towards the end of our trip, we all just sat amazed (and saddened) that the constant movement of the icebergs and drops from the glacier meant no one would ever see this place the way it was in that moment. Our guide Piper was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease knowing we were going out with someone with a lot of experience running this trip. There was only one spot on the trip when I booked, so I went alone. It's a small group and everyone was very friendly, and we shared the photos we'd taken of each other at the end of the trip. I had never kayaked and have only canoed a few times before. The guide walks you through proper technique hands on before you get into the kayak. It was a light workout - the waters were very calm and we only moved quickly a few times. Bring layers - you will be able to adjust to the weather on the bay before you get in the kayaks. I was so glad I bought a pair of light gloves from their shop. The pogies (paddle hand covers) kept me warm while holding the paddle, but I was able to take them out for photos without losing feeling in my hands.
