This pier and the vendors along side are fun to walk down and see. A lot of the ships and day tours go out of this pier, so there is a lot of activity down on this end of Ali'i.

In the center of Kailua Kona, good start point for some great water activities : swim, snorkel etc. Coloured turtles around.

It's not water anyone would really want to swim in. Lot's of boats and the oil slicks that come with them.

The pier offers nice views especially when the canoes are out. The beach is very nice & the perfect place to put your longboard in.
