Zell am see is a lovely town and a great place to base yourself for exploring this part of Austria. Plenty of cafe's and shops, lakeside walks, and good transport connections.

Naar the Lake as the city's name states Zell am See is a very popular wintersports and summer destination. Enough activiteis in the area and me important beautiful surroundings. For skiing, walking or touring!

I visited Zell am See for 1 night, but liked it so much that I extended for another night. It really is a beautifully located town on the bank of a lake, very close to skiing locations.
