Our hotel overlooked Mozartplatz so we had lovely views from our balconies of the square and adjacent magnificent architecture In the summer there are concerts in the square, the evening one we caught was very good.

We visited St Gilgen on Corpus Chrstie festival. There was a procession of the town people. It was lovely to watch the town celebrate their festival. St Gilgen is located on a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains.

This review isn't about Mozartplatz specially, but more of St Gilgen itself (couldn't find anywhere on TA that lets you review a town!). Came here for an hour mid April when pretty much the whole town was closed down, getting ready for the Summer season....More
