Coming to Mayrhofen I was a little bit concerned about the difficulty of the slopes since I was a novice skier but I found a few easy blue runs to keep me busy. After spending a few hours on them my confidence grew so that...More

This was our first winter ski trip to Austria having previously been to France and Italy for previous 15 years. Unlike French resorts transfer from Innsbruck airport by coach only took 1 1/2 hours, instead of 3-4 hours needed for getting to places like Tignes....More

Very nice ski slopes. The condition of the snow was perfect. Lots of different slopes for different levels of skiers. Some were challenging and some very fun. There were many lifts too, so the crowds were distributed to different parts of the valley.

Apart from poor hotel Strolz that we would not recommend. Mayrhofen was fantastic. Great skiing and plenty to do around town. Apres skiers heaven. Good shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. Something for everyone. Paragliding and ice skating rink also add to things to do.

Plenty of runs to choose from to stop experienced skiers from getting bored. Including the notorious harakiri run - which if you fall, you’re not stopping until you get to the bottom - saw plenty of people wipe out and having successfully got down it...More

Our first time in Mayrhofen having skied in Alpbach for several years. Much better choice of runs. Lots of wide blues and challenging reds. It must be noted that none of our party are expert skiers so Mayrhofen was perfect for us.

wonderful ski resort for everyone at every level. Residents of Mayrhofen are equally friendly and pleasant in every area. Both at the ski lifts, shops and in restaurants and bars. In terms of price to do well.
