If you want to see elephants, this is a must see park. We saw large herds at the swamp, including two young males who were having the time of their lives chasing each other, trumpeting while kicking up flocks of birds, and then playing and...More

I spent one day at Tarangire, and I think that was sufficient. We saw so many animals in such a short amount of time - elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras, and even got to drive up right underneath a lion in a tree.

This park was smaller than some of the others which made it easier to navigate. This was a great place to see elephants up close. We saw herds of them in all kinds of activities! We also came across a Chetah easily after spending hours...More

Wonderful park. Saw many animals including tree climbing lions and the largest elephants. I would recommend this park prior to departing Kilimanjaro and Arusha area.

We only had one day here - I highly recommend you to stay 2 days in this park! Since we had the most fantastic guide and driver, Frank from Halisi Adventures, we covered a great area of the park. A lot of elephants, zebras (they...More

This should definitely be included in your safari itinerary. Simply beautiful and wonderful seeing the animals in their natural environment. Saw ample elephants, buffalo, zebra, impala. Also saw cheetahs. Didn't see any lions or leopards on my visit
