Dined in the En Route restaurant and ordered the wraps and fries - portions were sizeable but taste was average.

We wouldn't return to eat but the meat and bread counters were so busy they must be good.

We went there for a Sunday drive out, what a experience, the owner show us a table,we were sitting there for almost a hour, being ignore ,so I ask as reception of a waiter, after half a hour later they brought us the drinks, the table was not set no knives and forks no salt and pepper, the serve the food after another 2 hours, without the cutlery,I have to go to reception again to ask for cutlery,by that time the food was ice cold.People sitting at another table cancelled there order and walk out.
Disgusting,forget about going there.
They will.never see us again
And not worth the money .

Great farm stall, conveniently located, good outdoor seating options, quick service and food good, portions generous and the best chips of our holiday so far. Pleasant place to sit, with lots of options for food and drink, things to buy and bakery.
We had venison pie with gravy and chips, chicken burger and avo on toast. All excellent. Left laden with bread, rolls, koeksuster, cheese and local butter and beer. Good value all round, recommend.

A really pleasant place to stop for a coffee and a quick look around.
The nursery had healthy spekbooms for sale at really reasonable prices.
Our coffee and cake was of a really good quality and there was hand sanitizer on entering and leaving.
On our way back to the Cape we will visit again.

We had a lovley year end function at the Weskus Padstal. The food was excellent and the service was great. Everyone was so friendly and we felt very at home. The new owner is re-doing the resturant and it looks amazing!!!

We were staying in Yzerfontein so passed this stall a few times so glad we popped in its filled with goodies I didn't know whet to buy my parents as a gift from South Africa but in here I had a number of ideas and found some beautiful soft table mats with South African scenes on beautifully made a perfect gift. We didn't try the cafe wish we had more time to do so. Very friendly staff.

I was on my way up the West Coast and couldn't wait to get to the Farm Stall for a sandwich as it was well after lunch time. I decided on Bacon and egg and a cup of coffee.
Whilst waiting I decided to take some pics. The African greys in the first cage shouted Hello, Hellos but I couldn't see which one it was. I said I will be back. A white Cockatiel came right up close and I asked must I take your photo and he "posed'. Besides the indoor tables there are also quite a few outdoor eating spaces.
When my sandwich came it was more than I expected i.e. huge slices of homemade bread with enough bacon and delicious chips. I had to ask for a container to take the other half for later.
After lunch I took some more pics. It is also a Nursery and the plants are looking healthy. The doors of sheds and, I presume entrances to the cages, have lovely story book characters on them. On the whole there are lots to see and do for all ages.
Then of course it is a Farm Stall where you can purchase preserves, rusks, freshly baked Breads and Pies. Stock up on Wines, bags, wool and some items of clothing or just browse.
On the parking Lot is also a Biosphere office. I found it quite interesting - pop in and see what they are about
