Because our group cannot travel on Saturday, the Historical Society made special arrangements (allow much lead time). The tour we had was very interesting and presentation was excellent. There is a great picnic shelter near the dock on the St. Johns River. On the downside,...More

This is actually my neighborhood park and it's fabulous! I love to walk along the trails and sit on the St Johns River. The trails are paved so easy to push a stroller or wheelchair (I've done both). The museum is very interesting and I...More

While passing through town we had an hour to spend and went to this quaint little place. It has a few significant artifacts, but it is small. Takes just about 45 min to go through it, and walk down to the river which is beautiful.

I enjoy seeing things from days-gone-by. I can imagine myself back in that era picking up my mail or talking with my friends and townspeople. Quaint, it is a shame there are not more of these sites to visit.

Get there early for parking but there is additional parking on the other side of the park. Beautiful trails with the old homestead on the way to the river. A gorgeous veiw of the river . Highly recommended .
