Have always wanted to see this wonderful place in December around Christmas 🎄 with the wreaths on the graves and most of all with snow ❄️ and with my son. It was truly a spiritual experience the day all of these the stars aligned and...More

This is a must as it is so touching. I thought so much about our history when walking through here. It really is a must and the drive through audio tour is a must.

Beautiful place to just walk around and view the place of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. The cemetery has many gravesites of the soldier who fought here and also soldiers who have fought in other wars. A must see.

Next to Arlington National Cemetery, the Gettysburg National Cemetery has to be my favorite place to reflect on the sacrifices made by our veterans and even civilians caught up in the history of moments. What started out as a simple Pennsylvania resting place for local...More

Lovely place to reflect, particularly after a battlefield tour. Wreaths placed on all headstones for Christmas. Consult book _The Complete Gettysburg Experience_ for a tour based in the cemetery itself. Closes promptly at posted times.

This was the last stop on our driving tour and an excellent place to conclude a visit to the Battlefield. It is a somber and emotional place and represents only those lives lost from the Union side of the battle. Knowing even more were lost...More

The grounds are magnificently maintained and it is a very serene and sobering place. We had the pleasure of speaking with one of the park rangers who was a wealth of knowledge. It was like having a private tour!

Such a peaceful, remarkable place. It was incredibly sad to walk through the seemingly endless numbered grave markers. Just below the soil lay men who have given not only their lives, but their identities, fighting for what they believed in. It was important to me...More

Rows and rows of fallen soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. Also the sight of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.

Gettysburg Museum was really good and should be seen first as we did. It's $14 for adults which gets you the movie, cyclorama and museum collection. The park is free and there are so many monuments to stop and see. Plan on a... More
