Breathtaking views from this location. You can just imagine what the soldiers would have had to face with the terrain being another obstacle along the way

Little round top is high ground. Important to have & Hold. You can look right down onto the Devil's Den. The battles were fierce, and went on for many hours. The dead all had to be gathered up in extreme heat of July and buried....More

Being from Maine this was a historic and emotional place for us. We went twice just to take it all in and be able to walk the hill and watch the sunset was fantastic.

Little Round Top is very inspiring once you realize that troops were holed up here taking on sniper fire from below. A fascinating story well worth the time and effort.

You can re-live the Union Soldiers position at this spot. In today’s terms, not sure it would be a well selected spot, but it does offer excellent view the terrain to the west as well of the Devils Den.

This was a pivotal location for the Union's defense and probably one of the most well known skirmishes of the U.S. Civil War. The views from Little Round Top is definitely worth the effort.

Great place to see a lot of the battlefield from. On a clear day, you can view several other parts of the park clearly. Definitely worth stopping.

Also known as Culp's Hill, this shows that not all of the battle took place in open fields. This was some rough terrain.

I stand in awe at Little Round Top--the awe of just imagining what both sides faced as one side clambered to unseat the entrenched side of the other. I just sat there and stared at the scene. This is a must visit when one goes...More

You can take driving tour, or hike from museum center. If you decide to drive, you can get out of the car and walk around. You can hike as much or as little as you desire. The next time we go back, we will hire a private... More
