Small and cool comedy cellar in West Village. You can find famous comedians coming here and try their sketch. Book in advance or you have no chance to enter.

The comics were all good (hilarious, we did not stop laughing) and I will definitely go back again... unfortunately the servers seemed miserable and this reflected in the service. You’d think with such a fun, happy, upbeat atmosphere they would pick happier people to work...More

If you've never been to a real comedy club, you can't pass up a night at The Comedy Cellar. Top name comics have been known to just drop by and perform so you never know who may be there. There is a two drink minimum...More

If you’re sick of bars or touristy attractions, then this place is perfect. $14 cover charge (plus mandatory two item minimum when inside) means you’re paying roughly $30USD for an hour and a half’s worth of quality comedy. 6 different comedians performed plus an MC...More

Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

It’s 21 and over and the material is adult. There is a great Comedy improv show In NYC that is family friendly- Eight is Never Enough. Google family friendly comedy in NYC and you will see all the choices.
