The Grand Central Market is a nice quick diversion while you're in the Grand Central Station area. It feels like a tiny subsection of the trendy Italian market "Eatly" has landed in the middle of all the commuter foot traffic. If you happen to be...More

I just love open food markets. This place is not huge, so you can't really get lost, but there are plenty of kiosks to browse and enjoy some really good food.

After a very tasty lunch at the Oyster Bar, I chanced on this corridor on the way to the subway. What a pleasant surprise! Fine spices, numerous delicacies--competes with Zabars in many ways and is a perfect convenience for a tired commuter.

Come off the train and take it all in, have a taco, beer, cupcake from Marigolds and catch your breath before you dive into the hustle and bustle of the city. There’s something for everyone.

Wot a great market. Individual units set out to make them so visually attractive. Lots of natural colour. The cheese and fish units were a particular favourite. Wonderful tea and herbs place too. Well worth visiting if in the area.

While playing the tourist this past weekend, my husband took me through the Grand Central Market. The smells in the area were mouthwatering. Foods of all types were available for purchase. Definitely will visit again.

New to NYC? You don’t have to ride the metro to enjoy this place ! Stop in and walk the market to get a snack or find spices from the local spice guru. Did I mention olive oil and specialty vinegars? Well that’s here too...More

I do not know. Most of the vendors are individually owned and not a part of the whole.
