The US destroyer Cassin built in 1943 was a great site to see all the guns and artillery onboard. We parked 10 minutes away and no entrance fee was great. The ship has history for the Pearl Harbor war with Japan

You can get on and visit this destroyer for free. It served during the Second World War and during the Korean War. Life on board shouldn't have been very easy. Daily guided tours are available and free.

It was easily accessible, roomy enough to walk around, and really neat to see... Look up and tee the turrets and the size of them! They have most of the ship open for viewing...including torpedo room,radio room..sick bay and mess hall/kitchen area. Tours are wondefrul as they explain the crew, destinations, and history…
