The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a pretty park that has sidewalk benches and large porch swings. It was wintery conditions with snow but we walked by and enjoyed the open areas and the statues.

Although it took forever, sinking the highway into a tunnel and turning the ground above it was on to a very long park, was a brilliant use of this space. It provides lots of additional public access to beautiful outdoor space for everyone, and bridges...More

Been in both in summer and winter and always fun! In the summer there are outdoor vendors, and in the winter the carousal is lit up and running...very pretty!

There are several and continuous little parks through all the area, with a lot of art scenery and places where you can sit down and breathe fresh air far away from streets and noises.

Great improvement over the elevated rail line that this replaced. The line essentially split the city, which was a shame. Too bad the corruption, huge overruns and continuing problems with the "big dig" that created this and put the rail and highway underground somewhat tarnish...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
