This experience was FANTASTIC. We were two families, so I decided to opt for the private tour. Ben Soloway was our tour guide. He brought the history to life, and did a marvelous job. I think this is the very best way of making history interesting - not just to kids - but to everyone.

If you don’t mind walking some (and yes it was COLD), and taking your time exploring, do the Freedom Trail. Easy to guide yourself, and learn some amazing US history along the way.

This was a fun walk. We followed the route. Stopped at Mike's Pastry on the way (highly recommend if you have a sweet tooth). We spent about 4 hours overall. Got a close look at so many historical sites.
