We were looking for something to do for an afternoon with my 4 year old. We found this place and easily booked on line. The place was very clean and lots of social distancing etc so we were very happy with the conditions. The place is huge and there was so much to do and play with. So much that we stayed for two and a half hours. My son had so much fun that he wanted to go back the next two days of our holiday also. I also really enjoyed the activities. Would recommend for families with little kids.

Although pricey, the Museum is wonderful and so much fun! The only negative experience was the scam at Farnsworth Garage, which the museum provides parking validation for. The cost is supposed to be $25 but the garage charged us $38 and the attendant there claimed our validation was no good. The attendant offered no solution for us and was extremely rude. We quickly let the Museum know of this issue and they were very attentive about it. I advise avoiding this parking garage but if you must park here and run into an issue make sure to let the Museum know. Here is the number for the manager at the garage, Duvante: 857-237-8756

Spent the day at the Boston Children’s museum. There is a lot of hands exhibits for kids to interact with. We went on a Monday holiday and the place was packed. Next time I would not go on a holiday. They have a nice gift shop, but felt like it was geared for younger children. Make sure to see if your library offers museum passes, it will save you some money.

Our 3.5 yo son loved it. Suitable probably even more for slightly older children. Quite expensive though given it’s basically a giant indoor (albeit fun) playground for kids.
