We loved camping here. Beautiful rock formations and enjoyed riding around the area in our jeep. Sunsets are stunning. It's truly a gem.

Best for mountain biking, trail running, and hiking. But you can also Nordic ski in the winter. Oh yeah, dirt biking, shooting guns and camping too!

We haven't had our bikes in Hartman Rocks, but from what I'm told it should serve us very well as a venue to work the cobwebs out of our machines. We're looking forward to riding as many of their trails as time will allow.

This place was amazing--talk about a "big kid's playground"! There are hiking trails, mountain bike trails, and rocks--lots of rock formations for climbing! And nighttime brings a fantastic spot for Star Gazing and seeing The Milky Way!

This area has so much promise and could live up to it if the BLM would invest in more signage. They have a great variety of trails but getting lost is likely. You are out in the open so will get hot fast. It is...More
